The King's Economy: Investing in Futures (Matthew 6:19-24)

I. Life in the Kingdom of God: Following Jesus, requires our undivided loyalty: proven by our investments (Mt 6:19-21).

A. Followers of Jesus don’t invest in ________ dividends (Mt 6:19).

B. Followers of Jesus invest in ________ dividends (Mt 6:20).

C. Our _________ reveal our true focus: what we truly value (Mt 6:21).

II. Life in the Kingdom of God: Following Jesus, requires our undivided loyalty: proven by our focus (Mt 6:22-23).

A. A “healthy” eye produces an undivided focus, resulting in _________(Mt 6:22).

B. A “bad” eye produces an unfocused duplicity, resulting in _____________ (Mt 6:23).

III. Life in the Kingdom of God, following Jesus, requires our undivided loyalty: proven by our allegiance (Mt 6:24).

A. We cannot pledge our life to two masters _______________ (Mt 6:24a).

B. We cannot pledge our life both to God and _________ (Mt 6:24b).

“In following Jesus, God’s our true Master.
And so we invest in the Hereafter.”
