Good morning church family,

Welcome to our time of gathering together today. Today we leave the book of Romans and begin a study on God’s call for us to be reconcilers. Because of His great work of reconciliation on the cross, we are now given the ability to truly bring peace in the midst of conflict! We are participating this morning in songs that speak of His cross work and the fantastic provision of peace this work has brought us. Jesus’ desire is for us to follow Him in a life of reconciliation and restoration. Let us seek to express worship to Him now as we listen to and sing these songs.

This prayer may be read together or by one person in your group or any other way you would like to engage it. It is here to help us ask the Lord to guide us through our time of worship this day.

Father, thank You for meeting with us here this morning. Your word tells us that though we may be few in number, You are here with us and that Your Holy Spirit lives in us. Teach our hearts today what it means to love You more deeply, follow You more closely and show You more completely to those around us who have yet to hear about Your great love. We ask these things in the name of Jesus. Amen

Read these words together and pause to talk to the Lord and perhaps with each other as you confess the things that have caused you to wander from trusting God this week.

Read together:

Father, we desperately need to talk to you about our sins. Your word tells us that when we keep silent, our bones waste away and that we groan all day long. Your word also says, “Blessed is the one against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.” Father, we confess our sins to you knowing that you alone can forgive them and that you do this through the precious blood of your Son Jesus.

(Pause to discuss or think about this previous week)

Respond together:

We thank you Father for taking away all of our sins and remembering them no more! We truly rejoice in Your great grace. Amen.

(Take your time here)

By yourself, or in your small group gathering, pray for the church and the movement of the gospel. Begin your time of prayer with thanksgiving remembering the mighty works of our God and his love for us. Then lift up our leaders, those in authority over us that we might live in peace for the purpose that the gospel might be shared freely. Finally, close with petition for your daily needs and those around you.

Take a few minutes, thinking about what it means to give sacrificially in times like these. The church has always faced a troubled world and has been placed here for such times as this to be reconcilers and provide hope for the hopeless and love to the unloved. Pray together and ask God to open your heart to how he might use you and your gifts in this unique time.

Because of the cancellation of our church services, we would like to offer you 3 convenient ways to continue supporting LBAC through your financial gifts and offerings as you and your family worship from home:

1. Go to the GIVE section of our website at and select the GIVE ONLINE NOW button. There you can sign up with easyTithe, our online giving provider, for one-time donations each week. For your convenience, you can even set up recurring donations so no matter where you are, you won’t have to worry about your weekly giving.

2. Give to LBAC through our PayPal account, Just follow the link here or type it in your browser and log in to your account. In the note section, you can write where you’d like the funds to be designated.

3. For those who don’t like to use technology, there is always the option of mailing a check to the office or dropping it off at the church. There is a heavy duty mail slot on the door to the left of the main office door. We’ll get it and deposit it.

Easy peasy. Three ways to continue giving while you worship from home. Let’s make the most of the situation we’re in and continue worshipping and glorifying our Father in Heaven.

Growth Groups, Creatively Ongoing
With the evermore restrictive guidelines on gathering together, there are a lot of growth groups that have taken to social media, and other technologies, to still meet as a growth group. Programs such as Facebook Groups, Zoom, and Google Hangouts have proven to be an effective way to gather together, share what the Lord has been up to in your life, and to still enjoy the sight of each other’s beautiful faces.

We are still figuring out how all of this works, but if you are not sure where to begin, please contact your growth group leader or our office and we’ll try and get you pointed in the right direction.

Youth Group, High School & Junior High, Online
We have moved all of our weekly youth gatherings online with the help of YouTube Live and Zoom.

Pastor Jesse streams a live Youth Group every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7PM for anyone to join (high school, junior high, friends, family, parents, neighbors, CDC officials). Jesse gives away coffee, plays games and includes some worship and a lesson. Then the group moves to a zoom meeting afterwards to check-in with one another and discuss the lesson.

You can find and subscribe to our YouTube channel HERE.
You can download and create a free Zoom account HERE.
Contact Pastor Jesse if you have any questions.

Awana will not be meeting in person for now, but we don’t want that to keep you from moving forward in your books and continuing to learn those verses!  Please check your email or contact your awana club director for instructions on how you can recite your verses.
