Online Worship Service (4-12-2020)

Under LBAC’s current plan to limit gatherings, we want to provide a comprehensive worship experience for you to experience on your own, with your family, or your Growth Group. Below you will find links to all of the elements of our typical mornings for you to use as you wish.

If you have any issues with any of the links, please contact our office.

For your convenience, we have digitized the Worship Guide that you receive each Sunday morning as you enter into the sanctuary. Click on each of the links below to view or download the document.

Parents – Here are a few fun, simple ways you can help your kids celebrate Palm Sunday and the upcoming Holy Week at home.  There’s a palm leaf craft link, as well as an Easter story flip book and word search.  These could be things the kids do while you are listening to the sermon or at a different point in your day or even later this week.  There’s also a new sermon notes for kids worksheet for you to try out.  If you prefer the one we posted the last couple of weeks, you can still access that by clicking the blue box with the previous worship services.

He is risen: (response) He is risen indeed!

Good morning church family, happy resurrection day!

Jesus has left the tomb. After suffering a brutal death on the cross and then being buried in a hurried fashion, placed in a borrowed tomb, we come to this day, Resurrection Day!

This day shocked the disciples of Jesus as he met with them face to face, it was predicted but not believed until that very moment. Now for us, some two thousand years later, it still brings the greatest excitement and joy to our hearts! Truly death has been conquered, truly we have been forgiven and joyfully we are now able to worship with great thanks giving for all that the Father has accomplished through his Son Jesus!

God has shown us His amazing grace and great love through His actions let us respond in worship!

He is risen, He is risen indeed!

Read these words together and pause to talk to the Lord and perhaps with each other as you confess the things that have caused you to wander from trusting God this week.

Easter Confession (Read these words together)

Father, today we celebrate your victory over sin and death.
We sing of a risen Lord and an empty tomb.
By your death we have been brought to life.

Father, we confess that there is nothing in us that would merit such a fantastic act of love.

We are humbled as we think about the great cost of sin both in our lives and in the life of your Son Jesus.

(Pause here and to take a moment to confess your sins to God)

All Respond

Thank you Father for Your amazing grace and for Your deep painful work on that cross, which has provided our complete forgiveness. Thank You Jesus.

Take a few minutes, thinking about what it means to give sacrificially in times like these. The church has always faced a troubled world and has been placed here for such times as this to be reconcilers and provide hope for the hopeless and love to the unloved. Pray together and ask God to open your heart to how he might use you and your gifts in this unique time.

Because of the cancellation of our church services, we would like to offer you 3 convenient ways to continue supporting LBAC through your financial gifts and offerings as you and your family worship from home:

1. Go to the GIVE section of our website at and select the GIVE ONLINE NOW button. There you can sign up with easyTithe, our online giving provider, for one-time donations each week. For your convenience, you can even set up recurring donations so no matter where you are, you won’t have to worry about your weekly giving.

2. Give to LBAC through our PayPal account, Just follow the link here or type it in your browser and log in to your account. In the note section, you can write where you’d like the funds to be designated.

3. For those who don’t like to use technology, there is always the option of mailing a check to the office or dropping it off at the church. There is a heavy duty mail slot on the door to the left of the main office door. We’ll get it and deposit it.

Easy peasy. Three ways to continue giving while you worship from home. Let’s make the most of the situation we’re in and continue worshipping and glorifying our Father in Heaven.

Growth Groups, Creatively Ongoing
With the evermore restrictive guidelines on gathering together, there are a lot of growth groups that have taken to social media, and other technologies, to still meet as a growth group. Programs such as Facebook Groups, Zoom, and Google Hangouts have proven to be an effective way to gather together, share what the Lord has been up to in your life, and to still enjoy the sight of each other’s beautiful faces.

We are still figuring out how all of this works, but if you are not sure where to begin, please contact your growth group leader or our office and we’ll try and get you pointed in the right direction.

Youth Group, High School & Junior High, Online
We have moved all of our weekly youth gatherings online with the help of YouTube Live and Zoom.

Pastor Jesse streams a live Youth Group every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7PM for anyone to join (high school, junior high, friends, family, parents, neighbors, CDC officials). Jesse gives away coffee, plays games and includes some worship and a lesson. Then the group moves to a zoom meeting afterwards to check-in with one another and discuss the lesson.

You can find and subscribe to our YouTube channel HERE.
You can download and create a free Zoom account HERE.
Contact Pastor Jesse if you have any questions.

Awana will not be meeting in person for now, but we don’t want that to keep you from moving forward in your books and continuing to learn those verses!  Please check your email or contact your awana club director for instructions on how you can recite your verses.
